Lash Extentions
Will your natural lashes get harmed or damaged?
(It has be popularly believed that
lash extensions can damage your natural lashes. It is a myth and they don’t. If
applied the right way, they are safe and will not ruin
the health of your natural lashes. DO NOT rub your eyes or tug or pull on the
extensions, which may damage your natural lashes.) How long does it take to apply lash extensions? Do lash extensions fall out over a certain period of time? Can you shower or swim right away? Are there products you should
absolutely avoid? (You must not have any water on your lashes for the first 12 to 24 hours
after any application or touch-up. Water can dissolve the adhesive and make the
lashes fall off. Using water-proof mascara on the extensions is not recommended
for any type of glue which would make it hard to remove.) What happens if glue gets in your eyes? (Your eyes must be
shut during the whole process, this way no glue can ever enter into your eyes.
To avoid irritation, the first thing that one must understand is to be sure
that the glue being used is safe and does not contain anything that can trigger
an allergic reaction. Also it is important to know the difference between an
allergic reaction and an infection. Our technicians who are licensed are
experienced in making sure that one will not become infected. However, if one
doesn’t realize that they are allergic to the glue being used, they will
inevitably incur a reaction. This however doesn’t mean that the glue is
intrinsically harmful.) What happens when you cry? (In any case where you feel burning or discomfort during the procedure
making you tear or even cry, this would be a case for you to speak up and let
us know about your situation. Your technician may even have to use a different
glue. Overall, our procedures has been pain-free and safe.)
(It takes approximately two hours in applying a full set of lashes and it is
recommended that one should come in for touch-ups every three to four weeks
year-round. Everyone has different lashes, and depending on the condition of
your own natural lashes, lash experts can only go a certain length or
thickness. (This is to ensure that your own lashes remain healthy. Everyone’s
lashes are different. Depending on the type of eyelash one has, our experts can
only apply a certain length or thickness. )
(Since each extension is attached to a single eyelash, they will fall naturally
along with the natural growth of each lash. Therefore, we recommend you come in
for a touch-up every three to four weeks. If a less experienced technician does
the procedure, he or she would apply one synthetic to three or four natural
lashes causing clumps making them prone to break and fall out. In addition,
your lashes might fall off if you pick at them or try to pull them out yourself
which is definitely not recommended. Your eyelashes should be intact when
avoiding these mistakes.)
